From the twenties, and it stays useful well past that. Skin that is oily or congested at forty five is a common story, often alongside dryness in other zones. The gel is built for that mix, since it hydrates without adding any oil to the picture.

My skin is oily in the T zone and dry on the cheeks. What do I do?

Use the gel over the whole face, then add the Triple Action 3A Cream on the cheeks only. The gel handles the hydration and the oily feeling everywhere, the cream adds comfort where the skin is drier. That is the simplest way to run combination skin.

Do I still need a moisturizer on top?

On genuinely oily skin, often not. The gel hydrates on its own and Aquafolia lists it as usable alone. On combination skin, layer the Triple Action 3A Fluid or Cream on top. In winter, most clients who skip the second layer in summer add it back.

How is it different from the Triple Action 3A Fluid?

The Complex is the gel that goes underneath and does the regulating and the hydrating work. The Fluid is the moisturizer that goes on top and carries the anti wrinkle actives. They come from the same family, are designed to be layered, and the Complex goes on first.
