1. Cleanse first, morning and evening, with something gentle and non-stripping.
2. Place a few drops of serum on the areas that flush, rather than the whole face.
3. Press it in with your fingertips instead of rubbing, and let it settle.
4. Follow with Aqua Rescue Cream to hold the hydration in and shield the skin.
5. In the morning, finish with your mineral sun protection before you go out.

From what age does this make sense?

There is no age rule here. Reactivity is a skin state, not a stage of life. Many clients start in their forties or fifties, when the barrier thins and flushing becomes more frequent, but a reactive twenty-year-old would use it in exactly the same way.

Can I use it alongside retinol or an exfoliant?

Yes, but not in the same application. Use the SOS serum on the evenings you are not exfoliating. If your skin is very reactive right now, let it run on its own for two or three weeks before you reintroduce anything else. Émilie can set the alternation with you.

How does it differ from the Aqua Rescue Cream?

The serum is the targeted concentrate, applied only on the areas that flush. The cream is the finishing layer, applied across the whole face, holding hydration in and shielding the skin. Aquafolia designs them to be used together, serum first and cream second, not one instead of the other.

How long does a bottle last?

Aquafolia does not publish a duration for the 30 ml bottle. What matters in practice is that you apply a few drops only where the redness sits, not across the whole face, so it goes considerably further than a full-face serum would. Émilie can tell you what her clients report.
