How to use

Rest the applicator tip directly on your lip, before you press anything.
Press lightly on the pump and let a small dose come through the tip.
Spread across both lips, and along the lip contour if it feels dry.
Repeat through the day as often as you need, and again before bed.
Wipe the applicator tip clean now and then, and cap it after use.

From what age can I use it?

Any age. It is a simple nourishing balm with no active exfoliant and no sun filters, so adults, teens and older skin all suit it. Lips tend to thin and dry faster with the years, which is exactly when a daily balm earns its place in the routine.

Is it safe if I have sensitive lips?

The formula carries no synthetic preservative, no colorant and no chemical sun filters, which removes several common irritants. It does contain plant oils, cupuaçu butter and a mint flavour. If you react to mint or to nut oils, ask Émilie before you start using it.

Does it protect my lips from the sun?

No. There are no sun filters in this balm, and Aquafolia states that plainly. Keep it for comfort and hydration, and use a lip product with SPF, or Aquafolia's Soft Mineral SPF 27, whenever you are outdoors for any length of time.

Why an airless pump rather than a pot?

Because the applicator never meets your fingers. Aquafolia's ergonomic finger-touch tip can be wiped clean and prevents direct contamination of the formula, which is what happens every time you dip into an open pot. It also lets the balm work without a synthetic preservative.
