From what age does a concentrate like this make sense?

Whenever dark spots start to bother you, which for most clients is the forties and fifties, sometimes earlier after a pregnancy or a summer without protection. It is also built for mature, dehydrated skin, so it earns its place well beyond the first spot.

Can I use it through the summer?

Yes. Aquafolia states that the formula is non photosensitizing, so it can be worn in the morning without making the skin more reactive to light. That said, daily sun protection is not optional with a brightening routine, in July or in January.

How long before I see a difference?

Pigment turns over slowly. Aquafolia publishes no timeline for this concentrate, and honest practice is to give any brightening routine at least three months of daily use with sun protection every day. If nothing has shifted by then, book a consultation and we will look at the whole routine.

What is the difference from the AquaUNDE Mask?

The concentrate is the daily step, applied under your cream, morning and evening. The mask is the weekly step, left on for ten minutes and rinsed. They share the same brightening peptides and are designed to work together, the mask giving an immediate smoothing effect the concentrate does not.
