1. Shake the bottle before each use, the foamer needs it.
2. Pump the foam into your hands and spread it over a dry or damp face.
3. Include the eye area. It is made to take off eye makeup too.
4. Massage lightly for a few seconds, then emulsify with a little water and rinse well.
5. Follow with the Aqua Rescue Concentrate, or with your usual next step.

From what age is this cleanser appropriate?

Any age. It is written for all skin types and the foam is light enough for teenage skin and comfortable enough for skin in menopause. What makes it worth the money later is that it takes makeup off without stripping, which matters more as the skin gets drier.

Does it remove waterproof mascara?

Aquafolia states that it removes water resistant makeup, and it is made for the eye area as well as the face. For a heavy waterproof mascara, hold the foam on the lashes for a few seconds before you start massaging, then emulsify with water rather than rubbing dry.

Is it suitable for sensitive eyes?

It is formulated as a two in one for face and eye, so the eye area is part of the design rather than an afterthought. Keep the foam out of the eye itself, and rinse with plenty of water. If your eyes are very reactive, test it on one eye first.

How is it different from the Soothing Cleansing Essence?

The foam is the makeup remover, thanks to the probiotic and hibiscus formula and a texture that lifts water resistant products. The Soothing Cleansing Essence is a gel with soapwort and three teas, oil free and non comedogenic. Congested skin often prefers the gel, drier skin the foam.
